It was a fun day and a Christmas spiritual feast!
We experienced the "Three Levels" of Christmas:
Santa Claus, Baby Jesus and the Adult Savior Jesus Christ.
It was definitely a Kenyan Christmas to remember!
The highlight of our Christmas Day
was being able to see and talk to our family!
We were able to talk with Ty and Aubrey's family
in Germany in the morning while our
missionaries were watching 17 Miracles.
Germany is just 2 hours behind us so
this was wonderful. When our missionaries left, the
timing was perfect to visit and see
our other children and grandchildren.
This made our Christmas complete!
WE LOVE OUR FAMILY!!!
We went to Nairobi for a wonderful Senior Couples Conference.
It was held Dec 30th. We enjoyed New Years Eve at President and Sister Hicken's home where we watched Meet the
Mormons, played games and had a wonderful meal.
It may be the only time we get to see some of these missionaries. There was such feelings of love for one another!

We were in great company!
A very special Thank You to our Heber 12th Ward Family
for the love filled package that we received. The cards and notes
warmed our hearts!! The package arrived in Nairobi Dec 30th
and we were able to read them when we
returned to our flat New Years Eve.
It was a great way to bring in the New Year!
